Shepherd always exploits sheep
In Baluchistan, when someone has to compliment another person, they say “وہ بہت بڑی بلا ہے”, that roughly translates to “he is a giant genie”. This phrase can be rationalized by a Pashto idiom “ڈرو اس بلا سے جس کا پیٹ نہ ہو”, that deciphers to “Fear the genie that has no bottle!”.
Regardless of how assertive and ample a genie is if his mere existence contains a bottle — he can be exploited by controlling the bottle.
A question arises; a society where the mere existence of people pivots around self-interests — in our metaphor; their bottles, can bring those people to the power that have no self-interests or no bottle?
Let us talk about the United States of America. J. Edgar Hoover was the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His tenure was from May 10, 1924 — May 2, 1972. During this period, six American presidents changed but not the director FBI. Legend says Mr Hoover used to maintain some private files — that later called Hoover Files. They contained documented information on the bottles of influential people in the USA. Even the US President used to fear checking them. Whom terms with hoover are good — their bottles will be safe.
This practice continued by American authorities after he died and applied on a global level. This gave the USA prominent leverage while negotiating because they have the bottles of another side. The most significant card against your foe is their bottle.
Our question comes to a rational judgment; masters of that society will never permit a person to come into power who has no bottle. A person who has no bottle comes into rule — he will do whatever is good for society. His ruling will come in the way of bottles of supreme. Soon he becomes a threat — not for the community — but for those who seek to exploit the population.
The higher authorities want society to be the sheep, controlled by their shepherd. The sheep loves the shepherd because he procures them diet and immunity, but the shepherd does not love the sheep. His actions are to benefit from their wool, milk and meat.
To be as powerful, influential and decisive as that abstract man — keep no bottle. Identify shepherds around you. Do not grant them to capitalize on our resources.
